Greetings from Vermont

Welcome to Sargent stays

We rent private dwellings only. We do not offer events or retreats.

We are a family run business that builds, renovates, manages, and owns select properties for short term rentals throughout the US and abroad. We have 10 years of experience providing thoughtfully designed and curated vacation destinations, each one a unique experience.

In Vermont, we have 9 distinct cabins available throughout our 3 separate properties for your cozy stay with us. Each residence can accommodate anywhere from 2-12 people, making it a great destination for any size group.

Located 4 hours from NYC and 3 hours from Boston, in the Southern portion of Vermont. We are easily accessible by car off the VT route 11. For our non long distance driving friends, you can access us by Greyhound to Manchester, with a 20 minute drive left to finalize your trip to us.

Cabins we love, cabins we built, and cabins that inspire us.

Our STAYS

Our breathtaking Vermont properties spread across 100 acres feature 9 beautifully unique stays that can accommodate groups of all sizes and types. Whether you are planning a romantic rendezvous or a relaxing remote getaway, our welcoming cabins provide an authentic vacation.

Each cabin is far enough away to feel like you’re on your own.

Enjoy the slower pace of Vermont country living. Unplug and unwind in front of a wood burning stove or soak and relax in a private hot tub!

  • We have detailed guides of activities to do around our area. We are happy to put you in touch with the local businesses that can help make your trip unforgettable.

What we can host: We would love to host you and your family.

All guests must be on the reservation. We can’t have any guests on the property who do not have a cabin reservation at the farm.

What we can NOT host: We can NOT host weddings. We know it’s a bummer, but guests that are not part of the original booking are not permitted on the property. Weddings, concerts or parties are not permitted.

It’s VERY important to know that what makes Sargent Stays different is we are not a commercial operation. That means you are on a tiny residential farm road. We know our neighbors well, and this is their home.

We ask you to drive incredibly slowly and respect that these are private properties along the road so please be the most respectful guests at all times. Keep your voices down, music down, no honking - let nature do the talking!

Hot Tub

Unwind with a relaxing soak in our state of the art hot tubs. Each residence has its own private hot tub, except for the Art Studio and Fernando’s Hideaway. All of our hot tubs have 3 different jet speeds, so choose the one you prefer for a spa-like experience. Please be gentle with the covers and ask for assistance if you need it. These are 110V units so please leave the temp at its current settings.

All hot tubs allow 4 people max to enjoy it.

Summer time in Vermont

Swimming: There are many serene local swimming spots to go check out and explore. Check out the Stratton Pond where locals hike and swim on hot days. Hamilton waterfall, which you have to hike down to access what looks like something out of Narnia. Pike Falls, Lowell Lake, and Hapgood Pond just to name a few others where you can take a swim or a hike, or both!

Fishing: Lowell Lake, and any stream/river along your drive that does not show a “no fishing allowed” postage. Make sure to get a fishing license from the Harvard Store in town if you plan to do so in your stay, it takes 5 seconds.

Hiking: 3 min to Magic Mtn, 10 to Bromley, 20 to Stratton, 25 to Okemo & Mt Snow where you can find summertime hiking.
